The Opera Mini internet browser is in the form of a milet, which is a java applet. So it works on any device that has a Java MDIP virtual machine, which is most PocketPCs.You can download and install Opera Mini directly to the PocketPC from http://mini.opera.com/.The Opera Mini navigator is quite fast. Non-optimised site are automatically reformatted to remove horizontal scrolling. The interface on the other hand, can be a little annoying, for example you have to tap Menu + Ok to check an address.Opera Mini is relatively small. Windows Live Search for Mobile - v1.0

Windows Live Search is a Microsoft application dedicated to search locations by exploiting the resources of Windows Live. It gives access to online maps (roads or aerial) on your Pocket PC where you can move using the pad or the stylus. After defining the position, it is possible to consult traffic state if you are in the US. You can find the best way to go from one point to another according to traffic too. I did not test the communication with a GPS receive, but it seems that it is possible. Lastly, the program offers local search by categories, with the possibility to call a phone number directly. An interesting program to follow closely, unfortunately still well too USA-dedicated. Attention to your communication data, I suppose that the quantity of data received for the maps is not negligible. [torgamm]

TKCreater is a nice little utility that allows you to create or modify themes for Pocket PC (from Pocket PC 2002 on). Of course, it isn't as powerful a tool as the programs made for the purpose, but at least it will allow you to change the colour of text and bars, and to change the images that appear as wallpaper or menu backgrounds.Perfectly compatible with Theme King, a program by the same author, allowing the juggling of installed themes, it has the merit of using the PNG format, so dear to fans of open formats.Update: Note that version 2.0.1 lets you manage Pocket PC themes including the PNG image format, letting you have themes that take up less memory. As far as improvements go, there is also an optimisation for Windows Mobile 2003 for Pocket PC that lets you change the text colour of the Start menu.
